I must admit that “La Città dei Ragazzi” – returned to the city of Palermo in June 2019 after the execution of works for its compliance – was really a pleasant surprise, a very nice place full of attractions for children.
It is located in Viale degli Abruzzi 1, just after Villa Niscemi and the Palazzina Cinese, and observes the following opening hours:
- Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 7.30pm
- Sunday from 10am to 1.30pm
As soon as you enter the city, you are immediately kidnapped by the train! The ride is free and is reserved for children with a minimum age of 3 years because the children are accompanied only by staff, except for children with disabilities.
Another attraction reserved for children aged between 3 and 12 years is the boat. The rides are free and adults are not allowed.
Don’t despair if you have children under the age of 3 years, for them has been created a mini club full of houses, castles, tunnels and slides. Remember to wear socks because you access with shoes is not allowed.
The mini club is closed from 3pm to 4pm for cleaning and tidying up.
The surrounding space is also well maintained and functional for children’s entertainment: fountain with turtles, games for all ages and free space.
We hope it always remains that way!
