Tuna meatballs

Dear Friends, here are some other addictive ‘meat’balls…. this time made of fish!

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 200 gr tuna drained (4 cans of 80 gr)
  • 2 heaps of bread (without the crust)
  • Milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese
  • Parsley
  • 3/4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 500 ml of tomato sauce

Soak the bread in milk for 5 minutes. Once done, transfer into a bowl with the tuna, eggs, Parmesan and parsley and mix everything. Put the olive oil in a pan, form the balls (they should actually be flat) and let them brown on medium heat (about 30 seconds per side). As soon as they’re brown, remove from the pan and place them on two sheets of paper towel to remove excess oil. Drain the rest of the oil from the pan and pour in the tomato sauce instead. Heat it, add a pinch of salt and add the tuna meatballs. Cook over a low heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Bon appétit!
