Stew meat and potatoes

Stew is a traditional dish, good for the whole family. I usually cook it on those cold evenings when I want a single hot dish.

Ingredients for four people:

  • 600 gr of veal meat (already cut into cubes by the butcher)
  • 1 small peeled carrot
  • 1 small peeled onion
  • 400 gr of potatoes
  • 400 gr of tomato pulp
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • 400 ml of hot water
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Chop the onion and carrot into small pieces and put them in a saucepan with a little oil. As soon as golden, add the meat, let it brown for a few minutes and add the white wine. Meanwhile, peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes, add them to the meat along with the tomato pulp and cook everything for a few minutes on high heat. Finally, add the hot water, and cook for at least two hours on low heat, after which we will have a delicious dish worthy of licking our whiskers.😋
